Car
If you are starting from the center of Big Bend National Park, head east on US-90 E towards the town of Sanderson. Continue on US-90 E for approximately 60 miles until you reach the junction with I-10 E. Merge onto I-10 E and drive for about 80 miles. Take exit 217 for US-19 S towards Tallahassee. Continue on US-19 S for about 60 miles until you reach St Marks. Turn left onto Old Fort Rd, and you will find San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park at 148 Old Fort Rd, St Marks, FL 32355. Parking is available at the park, typically at no cost.
