    If you're driving from Captiva Island, start by heading south on Captiva Drive. Continue until you reach the intersection with Sanibel-Captiva Road. Turn left onto Sanibel-Captiva Road and drive approximately 5 miles until you see the entrance to Sanibel on your right. Once on Sanibel, keep straight until you reach Dunlop Road, then turn left. The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village will be on your left at 950 Dunlop Rd. There is parking available on-site.

Look for Route 150, which runs from the Captiva Island area to Sanibel. Board the bus and pay the fare (approximately $1.50 per ride). Disembark at the nearest stop to Dunlop Road. From there, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the museum. Simply head east on Periwinkle Way, then turn left onto Dunlop Road. The museum will be on your left at 950 Dunlop Rd.
