Bicycle
Start by renting a bicycle at one of the local rental shops in downtown Fort Pierce. Head north on North 2nd Street until you reach Avenue D. Turn left onto Avenue D and continue west until you reach North 10th Street. Turn right on North 10th Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with North 25th Street. Turn left on North 25th Street, which will lead you to the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park entrance. From there, take the bike path towards the park and follow the signs to the boat ramp area. Park your bicycle there and look for a small boat or kayak rental service to get to Jack Island.

If you're already at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park, you can rent a kayak right at the park. Once you have your kayak, launch it from the boat ramp and paddle towards the east. Stay close to the shoreline and navigate around the inlet. Keep an eye out for the signs of Jack Island, which is located just off the coast. The paddle should take about 15-20 minutes depending on the current, so ensure you're prepared with water and sunscreen.
