Car
From the main entrance of Honeymoon Island State Park, head south on Causeway Boulevard. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Alternate US 19. Turn left onto Alternate US 19. After approximately 2 miles, you will see signs for the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail. Turn right into the parking area for the trail. Note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

Public Transportation
While there is no direct public transportation from Honeymoon Island State Park to the Pinellas Bike Trail, you can take a combination of local bus services. First, from the park, use the local taxi or rideshare service to get to the nearest bus stop on Alternate US 19. From there, catch the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus route 61 heading south. After several stops, disembark at the designated stop near the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail. Be sure to check the latest bus schedule and fares on the PSTA website or app before your trip.
