Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Marathon Key, take the Overseas Highway (US-1) south towards Key West. Continue on US-1 for approximately 47 miles until you reach Key West. Once in Key West, follow the signs for South Roosevelt Boulevard. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Howard England Way. The entrance to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park will be on your left. There is an entrance fee of $2 per person, or $4 per vehicle.

  For public transportation, look for the Keys Shuttle service, which provides transportation from Marathon to Key West. Check the schedule for departure times, as they may vary.
