Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of A1A and Guana River Rd. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve. Walk north on Guana River Rd until you reach the entrance.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown St. Augustine. Head east on King St, then take a left onto San Marco Ave. Follow San Marco Ave until you reach A1A. Turn right onto A1A and continue for about 8 miles. Look for Guana River Rd on your left. The entrance to the reserve will be a short distance down Guana River Rd.
