Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From downtown St. Petersburg, board the PSTA Route 18 bus at the Central Avenue station. The bus will take you northeast toward 34th Street N. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near 34th Street N and 4th Avenue N. From there, you will need to transfer to Route 59. Board Route 59 heading toward the 34th Street bus terminal. This route will take you closer to the area of Christmas Island. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop near 34th Avenue N and 22nd Street N. At this point, you may need to walk about 15 minutes northeast along 34th Avenue N to reach the vicinity of Christmas Island.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you're up for some exercise, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown St. Petersburg. From there, head north on North Shore Drive NE, enjoying the scenic waterfront views. Continue to follow the road as it turns into 34th Avenue N. After a comfortable ride of about 30-40 minutes, you’ll arrive at the area near Christmas Island. Look for local signs or ask for directions as you near your destination.
