Getting There

• Public Transit

  From downtown St. Petersburg, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Bus Route 59. This bus will take you directly toward Clearwater. Make sure to pay attention to the bus schedule, as it can vary throughout the day. Ride the bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the stop at Gulf to Bay Blvd and Countryside Blvd. After disembarking, walk east on Gulf to Bay Blvd for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the City of Clearwater Centennial Monument on your left at 3368 Gulf to Bay Blvd.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle at one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown St. Petersburg. Once you have a bike, head northwest toward the Pinellas Trail, which is located near 1st Ave N. Continue on the Pinellas Trail heading north. After about 6 miles, you will need to navigate toward Gulf to Bay Blvd. Follow the signs to Gulf to Bay Blvd, and then turn left. Continue biking for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at the City of Clearwater Centennial Monument, located at 3368 Gulf to Bay Blvd.

• Walking

  While walking from St. Petersburg to Clearwater is quite a distance, you can take a scenic route along the waterfront. Start at the St. Pete Pier and walk north along the waterfront until you reach the exit to the bridge. Cross the John Hopkins Memorial Bridge to enter Clearwater. Once you are on the other side, follow the signs toward Gulf to Bay Blvd. This trek will take you several hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and consider taking breaks along the way.
