Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From St. Pete Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Gulf Blvd. Catch the PSTA Route 18 bus heading towards St. Petersburg downtown. The fare is $2.00 (exact change required). The bus will take you directly to the downtown area. Get off at the 1st Avenue North & 3rd Street stop, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From there, walk north on 3rd Street to 5th Avenue North, then head east until you reach the park.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in St. Pete Beach. After renting, head northeast on Gulf Blvd, then use the dedicated bike paths to get onto 1st Avenue North. Continue straight until you reach 5th Avenue North, then head east to Bayshore Drive. Vinoy Park will be on your left. The bike rental costs approximately $10 for a couple of hours.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route along the beach. Start at the St. Pete Beach and walk north on Gulf Blvd until you reach 1st Avenue North. Follow this avenue east until you hit 5th Street. Turn left and walk north until you reach 701 Bayshore Drive NE, where Vinoy Park is located. This walk will take about 1.5 hours but offers beautiful views of the coastline.
