Getting There

    If you are driving, start by entering your GPS or map app with the address 8001 Double Branch Rd, Tampa, FL 33635. Depending on your starting point in the Tampa Bay Area, you may take the Veterans Expressway (FL-589) for a quicker route. If you're coming from downtown Tampa, take I-275 N and merge onto the Veterans Expressway. Once on the expressway, take the exit for FL-60 W towards Clearwater. Continue until you reach the exit for Hillsborough Ave (FL-580) and turn right onto Hillsborough Ave. Follow Hillsborough Ave and turn left onto Double Branch Rd. The park entrance will be on your left. Note that there is a $2 entrance fee per vehicle.

    To reach Upper Tampa Bay Park via public transportation, you will first need to take the HART bus system. Depending on your location, you can take bus routes that connect to the 34 route, which stops near the park. If you are starting from downtown Tampa, take the 1 or 30 bus to the transfer center and switch to route 34. Once on the 34 route, get off at the stop closest to the park entrance, which is a short walk to the park.
