A single ticket costs €1.40 and is valid for one hour. Note that bus drivers do not accept cash; consider purchasing a refillable ticket from vending machines at bus stops.
Walking

From Gare du Nord, the zoo is approximately a 30-minute walk. Head west along Boulevard de Belfort, then turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès. Continue straight, following signs for the 'Parc de la Hotoie' and 'Zoo'. The zoo entrance will be on your left, just past the park. This is a straightforward and pleasant walk through the city.
Driving

From the A16 motorway, take exit 19 towards Amiens Ouest/Amiens Centre. Follow the signs for 'Parc Zoologique'. Free parking is available at 178 rue Jean Jaurès, very close to the zoo entrance. Be aware that from mid-June to mid-July, the Foire St Jean fair occupies some of the parking areas, so allow extra time. Limited parking is also available along Allée du Zoo.
