Getting There

    From the center of Annecy (Place de la Gare), head south towards Rue de la République. Continue on Rue de la République until you reach the junction with Rue du Pâquier. Turn left onto Rue du Pâquier and walk straight until you reach the shores of Lake Annecy. Once you reach the lake, turn right and follow the promenade along the water. Continue walking for approximately 30-40 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the lake and mountains. You'll soon cross the border into Switzerland and reach the Promenade du Lac in Geneva, where the National Monument is located at Prom. du Lac 2.
