Getting There

Walking
From the center of Annecy (Place de la Gare), head south towards Rue de la République. Continue on Rue de la République until you reach the junction with Rue du Pâquier. Turn left onto Rue du Pâquier and walk straight until you reach the shores of Lake Annecy. Once you reach the lake, turn right and follow the promenade along the water. Continue walking for approximately 30-40 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the lake and mountains. You'll soon cross the border into Switzerland and reach the Promenade du Lac in Geneva, where the National Monument is located at Prom. du Lac 2.

Public Transport
From Annecy's central bus station (Gare Routière), take a regional bus (line 100) towards Geneva. The bus ride takes roughly 1 hour. Once you arrive at Geneva's main bus station (Gare Routière), exit and head towards the lake. From there, follow the signs to the Promenade du Lac. The National Monument is located at Prom. du Lac 2, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
