Car
If you are driving, start from the central area of Ardèche Gorges. Take the D104 road towards Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. After approximately 10 km, merge onto D217 towards Orgnac-l'Aven. Continue on D217 for about 5 km until you reach Col de la Forestière. The Grotte Aven Forestière will be on your right. There is a parking area available near the entrance, which is usually free.

To reach Grotte Aven Forestière via public transport, take a regional bus from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc to Orgnac-l'Aven. The bus service operates several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Orgnac-l'Aven, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km along D217 to reach the Grotte Aven Forestière. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your visit accordingly. The bus fare is typically around €2-€3.
