Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Nîmes city center, specifically the Maison Carrée. Head east along Rue de la République until you reach the Place d'Assas. From there, turn left onto Avenue du Général Leclerc and continue straight. This road will take you past the Jardins de la Fontaine on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Beaucaire (D999). Follow this road, which will eventually turn into Route du Pont du Gard. Continue on this road for about 6 kilometers. You will see signs for the Pont du Gard as you approach. The destination, 400 Rte du Pont du Gard, will be on your right.

    From the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), take the bus line 2 towards 'Pont du Gard'. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pont du Gard' stop, which is near the entrance to the site.
