Walking
From the central area of Avignon Old Town, head towards the Avignon Bridge (Pont Saint-Bénézet). Cross the bridge and take a moment to enjoy the striking views. Once on the other side, continue straight along Rue de la République. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Rue de la Montée du Fort. Turn left onto this street, and follow it uphill for another 5-7 minutes. Fort Saint-André will be on your right at 57A Rue Mnt du Fort, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon.
Public Transport (Bus)
You can take Bus Line 9 from Avignon. Start at the Avignon Central Bus Station (Gare Routière). Board the bus heading towards Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Fort Saint-André'. From there, it's a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the entrance of the fort. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they might vary on weekends and holidays.
