If driving from Clermont-Ferrand, take the A75 motorway south towards Issoire. Exit at Veyre-Monton. Follow signs for Monton. From Monton, follow the Chemin de Marmant. Parking is available near the entrance of the reserve. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak season.

From Clermont-Ferrand, take the Transdôme bus line 20, 42, or 43 to Veyre-Monton. From the bus stop 'Ecole Monton - Rue Jean Moulin', it's approximately a 30-minute walk (2km) to the reserve entrance via Chemin de Marmant. A single bus fare is approximately €3.

From the center of Monton, follow the Chemin de Marmant uphill. The walk is approximately 2km and takes around 30 minutes. The path is well-marked but can be steep in some sections. There are no costs associated with walking to the reserve.
