Driving
Vulcania is located in Saint-Ours-les-Roches, approximately 15 km north-west of Clermont-Ferrand. From Clermont-Ferrand, follow the A89 highway towards Bordeaux and take the Vulcania/Bromont exit. The park is well signposted from the exit. Parking is plentiful and free. Be aware that the parking lot entrance closes two hours before the park's closing time.
Public Transport
During school holidays (Summer, Autumn and Spring), a shuttle service connects Clermont-Ferrand train station to Vulcania. The shuttle departs from the SNCF train station (platform 5) and stops at various locations in Clermont-Ferrand, Chamalières, Royat and Orcines before arriving at Vulcania. A single ticket costs €1.60. Check the T2C website for the most up-to-date shuttle schedules and fares. Alternatively, taxis are available from Clermont-Ferrand, with fares varying depending on the distance and time of day.
