Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Avignon Central Train Station (Gare d'Avignon Centre). Head northwest on Rue de la République towards Place de l'Horloge. Continue straight until you reach the Palais des Papes. From there, take Rue de la Balance and head towards the Pont Saint-Bénézet. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Route de Pont du Gard. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the sign for Ruines de l'Aqueduc. The ruins are located just off the road.

  • Public Transport

    Begin at the Avignon Central Train Station (Gare d'Avignon Centre). Board Bus Line 5 towards 'Vers-Pont-du-Gard' at the bus stop outside the station. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Vers-Pont-du-Gard.' Once you disembark, walk along the Rue de l'Aqueduc for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see the Ruines de l'Aqueduc on your right.
