Getting There

• Train

  Start from Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station. Purchase a ticket to Margaux, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at the Margaux train station, exit the station and turn right onto Avenue du Maréchal Foch. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Route de la Brède. Turn left onto Route de la Brède and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Château Lascombes on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance.

• Bus

  From Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux, take bus line 701 towards Margaux. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Cantenac' stop. After alighting, head southeast on Rue du 11 Novembre toward Rue de Verdun. Continue straight onto Cr de Verdun, where Château Lascombes is located at number 1. It should be a short walk of about 10 minutes.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental stations in Bordeaux. Start from the city center and head toward the cycle path along the Garonne River. Follow the river until you reach the Pont de Pierre. Cross the bridge and continue along the bike path towards Blaye. After about 10 kilometers, follow the signs towards Margaux. Château Lascombes is approximately 2 kilometers from the center of Margaux, located at 1 Cr de Verdun.

• Walking

  Starting from the Bordeaux city center, head towards the Pont de Pierre and cross the river. Once across, walk straight onto Rue du 11 Novembre. Follow this road, which will lead you toward Margaux. The total distance is about 20 kilometers, and it will take around 4-5 hours to walk. Alternatively, you can take the train or bus as suggested earlier for a more convenient option.
