From Tours, take the A85 motorway towards Paris. Exit at N°11-Bléré if coming from Tours (45 min) or at Noyers-sur-Cher – Saint-Aignan if coming from Vierzon. Follow the D764 between Montrichard and Loches. The Château is located 15 kilometers east of Chenonceaux. On-site parking is available for free.

From Tours, take a TER train to Montrichard Val de Cher. From there, take a taxi to Château de Montpoupon, approximately 10 km away. Taxi fares may range from €20-€30. Alternatively, consider a TER train from Tours to Châtillon-sur-Indre, then a taxi or shuttle to the Château (12 km), but confirm taxi availability in advance. A train ride from Paris-Montparnasse to Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (Tours) takes about 55 min, followed by a 20 min TER train to Montrichard.
