Take a bus from nearby towns such as Gap or Briançon to La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar. The bus service is operated by Lignes de Provence and you can check the schedule online. Once you arrive at La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar, you will need to walk to the trailhead. The trailhead is approximately 1.5 km from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards Col de Pétarel, and you should reach the parking area in about 20 minutes on foot.
