Walking
If you are starting from the Grenoble train station (Gare de Grenoble), exit the station and head northeast on Rue des Alliés. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté and walk for another 300 meters until you reach Place Grenette. At Place Grenette, take a right onto Rue de la République and continue straight until you reach the foot of the Bastille. You can take the cable car (Téléphérique) for a scenic view of the city, but if you prefer walking, continue straight on the same road until you reach the pedestrian area. Follow signs towards Porte Saint-Laurent, which is located at 4 Pl. Saint-Laurent, just a short walk from the main square.

Public Transport
From the Grenoble train station (Gare de Grenoble), you can take tram line A towards 'Échirolles' and get off at the stop 'Victor Hugo'. From there, transfer to tram line B towards 'Gières - Plaineau' and get off at 'Jules Favre'. After disembarking, walk straight onto Avenue Alsace-Lorraine, then take a left onto Rue de la République. Continue walking until you reach Place Grenette. From Place Grenette, you can follow the pedestrian signs leading you directly to Porte Saint-Laurent at 4 Pl. Saint-Laurent.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many Vélov stations around Grenoble. Start from the station nearest to you and head towards the Isère River. Follow along the riverbank bike path until you reach the Pont de la République. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Place Grenette. Once at Place Grenette, follow the signs to Porte Saint-Laurent, which is located at 4 Pl. Saint-Laurent. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
