Walking
If you are starting from the Grenoble train station (Gare de Grenoble), exit the station and head southeast on Rue de la Liberté. Continue walking straight until you reach the Place de la Gare. From here, take Tram Line A towards 'Échirolles' and get off at the stop 'Chavant'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards the Parc Paul Mistral, passing the park entrance. Continue along the path that leads to the Parc, and you will see signs directing you to the 'Terrasse des Géologues'. It is located at the top of a hill within the park, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
Tram
From the city center (Place Grenette), walk to the tram stop 'Grenette' and board Tram Line A heading towards 'Échirolles'. Travel for about 8 stops and get off at 'Chavant'. From there, head towards Parc Paul Mistral, entering through the main entrance. Follow the pathways leading uphill, where you will find signs leading to 'Terrasse des Géologues'. The terrace is situated at an elevated point in the park, providing stunning views.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start from the city center and head along the Isère river pathway. Ride north along the river until you reach the Pont de la République. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Boulevard des Belges. Continue until you reach the entrance of Parc Paul Mistral. Once inside the park, follow the cycling paths leading upwards to the 'Terrasse des Géologues'. Be prepared for some uphill cycling, but the views at the top are worth it.
