Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from La Rochelle's central train station (Gare de La Rochelle), exit the station and head towards the main road, Rue de la République. Turn right and walk towards the harbor area. Continue walking straight until you reach the Place de la République, a square with a fountain. From there, head straight to the waterfront (Quai Louis Durand). When you reach the waterfront, turn left and follow the promenade along the harbor. Continue walking along the Quai de la Rochelle until you see the Quai Duperré. The Famous Pub will be on your left at 14 Quai Duperré.

• Walking

  If you are in the Old Port area, walk towards the Tour de la Lanterne, which is a famous landmark. From there, head east along the waterfront, passing the marina and the various cafés. Keep walking along the Quai Duperré; you will find The Famous Pub on your right side at 14 Quai Duperré before you reach the end of the quay.

• Public Transport

  If you are near the Place de Verdun, you can take bus line 1 towards Les Minimes. Get off at the stop 'Duperré'. From the bus stop, cross the street and walk directly onto Quai Duperré. The Famous Pub will be located at number 14 on your left side.

• Walking

  From the popular shopping street Rue du Temple, head towards the Place du Marché. Walk straight through the market area until you reach Rue des Merciers. Turn left onto Rue des Merciers, then take a right onto Quai Duperré. The Famous Pub will be on your left at 14 Quai Duperré.
