Once you reach the waterfront, enjoy a scenic walk along the promenade towards the south. As you stroll along the coast, keep an eye out for signs pointing toward the Parc Charruyer. Follow the signs that direct you towards Parc Charruyer, and once you enter the park, continue walking until you find the pathways leading towards the Promenade Allée des Tamaris. The promenade itself offers beautiful views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk.

If you prefer public transportation, start at the central bus station, Gare Routière de La Rochelle. Take bus line 3 towards 'Les Minimes' and get off at the stop 'Parc Charruyer'. From there, enter the Parc Charruyer and follow the pathways that lead towards the southern part of the park. As you walk through the park, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Promenade Allée des Tamaris. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes after getting off the bus, but the scenic surroundings will make it enjoyable.
