Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach the Gallo-Roman Museum of Lyon-Fourvière from central Lyon, start at the Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel metro station (Line A). Take the metro towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie. Get off at the next station, Croix-Paquet. From Croix-Paquet, exit the station and walk uphill on Rue des Capucins until you reach Rue Cleberg. Turn left on Rue Cleberg, and the museum will be on your right.

    If you are near the Vieux Lyon area, you can take the funicular from the Vieux Lyon station. Board the funicular heading up to Fourvière. After approximately 5 minutes, disembark at the Fourvière station. From there, walk down the path towards the Gallo-Roman Museum, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Follow the signs leading you towards the museum, and you will find it located at 17 Rue Cleberg.

    If you are staying in the Vieux Lyon area, you can also walk to the Gallo-Roman Museum. Start at the Place Saint-Jean and head towards Rue du Bœuf.
