From Marseille city center (e.g., Vieux-Port metro station), take Metro line 1 towards La Rose or Metro line 2 towards Bougainville. Get off at the Joliette station. Alternatively, take bus lines 82, 82s, 60, or 49 and get off at the Littoral Major or Fort Saint-Jean stop, which are right next to the MuCEM. A single ticket for the metro or bus costs €1.70.

From the Vieux-Port, walk north along the Quai du Port. Continue past the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) and the ferry terminal.
