To reach the Monument aux Morts from the city center, start by heading to the nearest metro station, Vieux-Port. Take Metro Line 1 (the blue line) towards La Fourragère. Get off at the next stop, Joliette. From Joliette, transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Sainte-Marguerite Dromel. Ride until you reach the stop at Castellane. From Castellane, take the exit towards Rue de Rome. Walk straight on Rue de Rome until you reach the Boulevard de la Libération, then turn left. Continue walking until you see the Cor Président John Fitzgerald Kennedy; the monument is located at number 62.

From the Vieux-Port area, walk to the bus stop at Hôtel de Ville. Take bus number 82 towards Le Rouet. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Les Goudes.' From there, walk along the coast following the signs for the Monument aux Morts. It should take you approximately 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the monument at 62 Cor Président John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

If you prefer to walk from the Vieux-Port area, head towards the Rue de la République and continue straight. This will take you through the shopping district.
