Walking
From the Saint-Malo ferry terminal (Gare Maritime du Naye), walk north along the Esplanade de la Bourse, following signs for Intra-Muros (the walled city). Enter through the Porte Saint-Vincent, the main gate. Place Chateaubriand will be directly in front of you. Continue straight through Place Chateaubriand, passing the Hôtel de France et Chateaubriand on your right. Turn right onto Rue de Dinan, then take the first left onto Rue du Guet. Place du Guet will be on your left, a short walk from the gate. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, from the Intra-Muros bus stop, walk through the Porte St Vincent and follow the directions above.

From the Saint-Malo train station (Gare SNCF), take bus line 1 or 2 towards Intra-Muros. Get off at the 'Intra-Muros' stop, located just outside the city walls by the Porte St Vincent. From there, enter through the Porte Saint-Vincent, the main gate. Place Chateaubriand will be directly in front of you. Continue straight through Place Chateaubriand, passing the Hôtel de France et Chateaubriand on your right. Turn right onto Rue de Dinan, then take the first left onto Rue du Guet. Place du Guet will be on your left, a short walk from the gate. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.35.

Taxi/Ride-Share
From the Saint-Malo train station (Gare SNCF) or ferry terminal, a taxi or ride-share to Place du Guet will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to specify that you want to go to Place du Guet within Intra-Muros, as there are other places with similar names outside the walls. Expect to pay around €8-€12 for the ride. Note that traffic within Intra-Muros can be limited, so the taxi may drop you off near the Porte Saint-Vincent, requiring a short walk.

Driving
Driving directly to Place du Guet is not possible as it is located within the pedestrianized Intra-Muros. The closest parking is at the Q-Park Saint-Vincent, located just outside the Porte Saint-Vincent. From the N137, follow signs for Saint-Malo and then Intra-Muros. Once parked, enter Intra-Muros through the Porte Saint-Vincent. Place Chateaubriand will be directly in front of you. Continue straight through Place Chateaubriand, passing the Hôtel de France et Chateaubriand on your right. Turn right onto Rue de Dinan, then take the first left onto Rue du Guet. Place du Guet will be on your left, a short walk from the gate. Parking at Q-Park Saint-Vincent costs approximately €2.70 per hour.
