Continue past the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) and follow the Rue de la Commanderie until you reach Rue des Écoles. Turn left onto this street, and then take the first right onto Rue des Forges. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Saint Nicolas Gate at the end of the street on your right, located at 5 Pl. des Vosges.

If you're near the tram stop 'Place Stanislas', take Tram Line 1 (Green Line) heading towards 'Hôpital Central'. Get off at the 'Hôtel de Ville' stop. From there, walk down Rue de la Commanderie and follow the same directions as walking above.
