Train
If you are in Nice, head to Nice Ville train station. You can take the tram line 1 to 'Gare Thiers' stop, then walk about 5 minutes to the station. Purchase a ticket to Cannes at the ticket machine or counter. The train to Cannes takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cannes train station, exit the station and walk straight down Avenue de Grasse towards Boulevard de la Croisette, which is about a 15-minute walk.
Bus
From Nice, take the bus line 200 from 'Gare Routière' (the main bus station in Nice). The bus runs frequently and takes about an hour to reach Cannes. Once you arrive at the Cannes bus station, walk down Rue Jean de Noailles, then take a right onto Boulevard de la Croisette. It is a short walk from there to the famous beachfront.
Tram and Walk
From your location in Nice, find the nearest tram stop for Tram line 1. Take the tram towards 'Palais des Expositions' and get off at 'Gare Thiers' stop. From there, walk to Nice Ville train station, and take a train to Cannes. After arriving at Cannes train station, exit and walk towards Boulevard de la Croisette, following the signs to the beach.
