Getting There

Walking
Starting from the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, head east towards the Seine River. Walk along Rue Bonaparte until you reach the riverbank. Turn left and follow the river along Quai des Grands Augustins. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, enjoying the view of the river and the historic bridges. As you approach Pont des Arts, cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, you will be on the right bank near the Louvre. Walk straight for a few minutes, and you will arrive at the main entrance of the Louvre Museum.

Metro
From Saint-Germain-des-Prés, walk to the nearest metro station, Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Line 4). Board the train in the direction of Porte de Clignancourt. After two stops, get off at Châtelet. Transfer to Line 1 towards La Défense. After one stop, get off at Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Exit the station, and you will find yourself at the Louvre Museum, just a short walk away.

Locate the nearest bus stop in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Take Bus Line 68 towards Gare de Lyon. Ride the bus for about 12 minutes until you reach the stop at Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre. Disembark and walk a short distance to the museum entrance.
