Getting There

  • Bus

    From Saint-Malo, make your way to the bus station, Gare Routière de Saint-Malo, located near the city center. You can walk there from the Intra-Muros area, which takes about 15 minutes. At the bus station, purchase a ticket for the line 2 bus towards Cancale. The bus departs regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cancale bus stop (arrêt 'Cancale - La Mère Champlain'), disembark and head east on Rue de la Basse Ville until you reach the intersection with Rue des Ecoles. Turn left onto Rue des Ecoles, then continue straight until you reach L'aurore. La Ferme Marine de Cancale will be on your right.

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Saint-Malo. Once you have your bike, set off towards Cancale via the scenic coastal route. Start on the D201 road, following signs for Cancale. The route is approximately 10 kilometers and takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Upon reaching Cancale, follow the road signs to L'aurore, where La Ferme Marine de Cancale is located. The farm will be on your right side as you enter the area.

The total distance is about 10 kilometers and will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
