Start at the Saint-Malo city center, preferably near the Porte Saint-Vincent, which is a prominent entry point to the old town. From there, head towards the beach, walking down Rue de la Cité d'Aleth. Follow the road until it leads you to the Promenade du Sillon, a seaside walkway.
