    From the town of Die, take the D93 towards Omblèze. Continue on the D93 for approximately 15-20 kilometers. Look for signs for Plateau d'Ambel and follow them to the Gardiol parking area, located a few kilometers past the Col de la Bataille coming from Léoncel. Parking is free at the Gardiol parking.

    Take a train to Die station. From Die, catch a local bus (Line 64) towards Omblèze. Check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends. From Omblèze, there is no direct public transport to Plateau d'Ambel. You can hike (approximately 3 kilometers) or try to arrange for a local taxi service or shuttle to get to Plateau d'Ambel. A taxi from Omblèze to Plateau d'Ambel may cost around €15-€25.

    From Omblèze, follow the marked hiking trails towards Plateau d'Ambel. The hike is approximately 14 km and offers stunning views. The trails are well-marked, but it is recommended to have a map and compass or a GPS device. Be prepared for a steep climb.
