Walking
If you are starting from the Palace of Versailles, exit the palace grounds and head towards the main road, Avenue de Paris. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the RER C train station, called 'Versailles Château Rive Gauche'. From there, take the RER C train towards Paris. After a short ride, get off at the 'Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Eiffel Tower and take a right turn towards Quai Branly. Continue walking straight along the river until you reach the 'Pont de l'Alma’. Cross the bridge and walk straight until you reach the 'Métro Alma - Marceau' station. Take Metro line 9 from there and get off at the 'Trocadéro' station. From Trocadéro, head towards the 'Palais de Chaillot' and enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower. After visiting, walk down the stairs towards the Seine River and take a left. Continue walking along the river until you reach the 'Pont de Bir-Hakeim' bridge. Cross the bridge and once you are on the other side, turn left onto Rue de Monttessuy. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Carrousel de Saint-Pierre.

Public Transport
From the center of Versailles, make your way to the Versailles Château Rive Gauche RER station. Board the RER C train towards Paris and disembark at the 'Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel' station. After exiting the station, walk towards the Eiffel Tower, then take a right onto Quai Branly. Walk straight along the riverbank until you reach 'Pont de l'Alma'. Cross the bridge, and continue walking straight until you reach 'Métro Alma - Marceau' station. Take Metro line 9 in the direction of 'Mairie de Montreuil' and get off at 'Trocadéro'. After getting off, enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower and proceed down the stairs towards the Seine. Walk left along the river until you reach 'Pont de Bir-Hakeim'. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto Rue de Monttessuy, and continue for about 15 minutes to reach Carrousel de Saint-Pierre.
