Upon arrival at Bora Bora Airport (BOB), located on a separate motu, a free shuttle boat (Bora Bora Navette) provided by Air Tahiti will transport you to Vaitape on the main island. This service is timed to coincide with flight arrivals. From Vaitape, you can access various transportation options to reach your final destination.

Many resorts, especially those located on private motu, offer private boat transfers from the airport. A resort representative will greet you upon arrival and escort you to a private speedboat. These transfers may be complimentary or added to your bill, so confirm with your resort beforehand.

Taxis are available in Vaitape, but they are limited and can be expensive. It's best to pre-arrange a taxi through your accommodation or a local taxi company. Expect to pay around 1,500 XPF (approximately $13 USD) as a starting price, with an additional 130 XPF (approximately $1.15 USD) per kilometer. Fares increase after 7 PM.
