If you're traveling by car, start by heading south from the main town of Taravao on Tahiti Iti. Follow Route 10, the main coastal road, until you reach the junction for Route 2. Turn onto Route 2, which will take you towards the area of Te'avaro. Continue on Route 2 for about 10 minutes. Look for signs indicating Toatea Lookout as you approach. The final turn will lead you towards a small parking area near the lookout point. Parking is usually free.
