The easiest way to reach Belvedere Lookout is by car. From the main road, follow the well-marked signs pointing to Opunohu Valley. Taxi
Taxis are available from the ferry terminal or airport. Expect to pay around 4,000 XPF (approximately $40 USD) for a one-way trip from the ferry port to Belvedere Lookout. Ensure the driver knows the destination and agree on the fare beforehand.
Public Transport
To reach Belvedere Lookout using public transportation, first take a local bus from your accommodation to the ferry terminal. The bus fare is around 110 XPF. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Moorea, which costs about 1,200 XPF for a round trip. After arriving in Moorea, you can catch a local bus from the ferry terminal towards Papetō'ai. Inform the driver that you want to go to Belvedere Lookout. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. As you approach the lookout, you may need to walk a short distance from the bus stop to reach the viewpoint.
