Getting There

Walking
Start from the central square of Akhaltsikhe, located near the Rabati Fortress. Head southwest on Rustaveli Street towards the intersection with Gamsakhurdia Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Gamsakhurdia Street. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the village of Abastumani. Once in Abastumani, look for signs directing you to the View on Abastumany observatory, which is located approximately 500 meters from the main road. You will see the observatory on a hill, and you can follow the paths leading upwards.
