From anywhere in the Abanotubani district, the waterfall is easily accessible on foot. Head towards the sulfur baths, specifically Orbeliani Bath (the blue-domed bathhouse). Continue past the bathhouses, following the path alongside the small river. The path leads directly to Leghvtakhevi Waterfall. There are no entrance fees or tolls.

Several bus routes serve the Abanotubani area. From Freedom Square, take bus 301, 310, 345, 344, or 350. Alight at the Abanotubani stop. From there, walk towards the sulfur baths and follow the walking directions. A single bus fare costs 0.5 GEL. Payment can be made using a Metromoney card.
