Getting There

Car
From Blood Mountain, head southwest on GA-75 S. Continue on GA-75 S for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with GA-17 S. Take a right onto GA-17 S and drive for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto GA-75 ALT S and continue for about 2 miles. You will see signs for Truso Gorge. Follow the signs for another mile until you reach the parking area. Please note that parking may require a small fee, typically around $5.

Public Transportation
Start at the nearest bus stop in Blood Mountain. You will need to take a local bus headed towards Hiawassee or another nearby town that connects to the regional bus service. Ask the driver for the closest stop to GA-17 S. Once you reach the transfer point, board the regional bus that travels towards GA-75 S. After getting off, you may need to walk approximately 1 mile to the parking area for Truso Gorge. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited and could require waiting.
