Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Telavi, which is about 22 kilometers from Gurjaani Kvelatsminda. Head south on the E117 highway towards Gurjaani. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Gurjaani. Continue on the main road until you reach the town center, then follow the signs to Chandari. The monastery is located at PQCQ+567 in Chandari, which will be on your left as you approach.

Public Transportation

To reach Gurjaani Kvelatsminda using public transport, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Telavi to Gurjaani. Marshrutkas leave from the Telavi bus station frequently. Once you arrive at the Gurjaani bus station, you can either walk (approximately 3 kilometers) or take a local taxi to reach Chandari. Taxis are usually available at the bus station and should cost around 10 GEL. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to PQCQ+567 in Chandari.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Kakheti. Ensure that you negotiate the fare beforehand, as it may vary. From Telavi to Gurjaani Kvelatsminda, it should cost between 30 to 50 GEL depending on your starting point and the driver's discretion. The taxi will take you directly to the monastery located at PQCQ+567 in Chandari.
