Car
If you are driving from Telavi, head southwest on the main road (E117) towards Tsinandali. Continue straight on this road for about 15 km until you reach the junction with the E60 highway. Turn left onto E60 and continue for about 25 km. Take the exit towards Motsameta and follow the signs for approximately 5 km until you reach the monastery. Note that parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Motsameta Monastery via public transport, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Telavi to Kutaisi. Marshrutkas leave frequently from the main bus station in Telavi. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 10 GEL. Once in Kutaisi, transfer to a marshrutka heading towards Motsameta. The ride from Kutaisi to Motsameta takes about 30 minutes and costs around 5 GEL. The marshrutka will drop you off near the monastery.
