Car
If you are traveling by car, make your way to Telavi, the capital of the Kakheti region. From Tbilisi, take the E117 highway towards Telavi. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Telavi, follow signs for the center of the city. The museum is located at 'WF9F+FWR, Telavi'. There is parking available nearby, but it may be limited during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Telavi. Marshrutkas leave frequently from the Didube Bus Station in Tbilisi. The fare is usually around 10 GEL, and the journey takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Telavi, you can either walk to the museum or take a local taxi. The museum is located approximately 1 kilometer from the bus station; you can follow local signage or ask for directions to 'WF9F+FWR, Telavi'.
Walking
If you arrive in Telavi by public transportation and prefer to walk, exit the bus station and head east on Aghmashenebeli Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Givi Agmashenebeli Street. Turn right, and the Telavi Historical Museum will be on your left. The entire walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
