Car
If you're driving from Telavi, head southeast on the R47 road. After approximately 10 km, take a left onto the R563 road. Follow this road for about 6 km until you see signs for Ujarma. Turn right at the sign and follow the road for another 2 km until you reach Ujarma fortress. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Telavi, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Lagodekhi. Ask the driver to drop you off at Ujarma, which is a common stop. The journey will take around 30 minutes, and the fare is typically around 2-3 GEL. Once you arrive, the fortress is a short 10-minute walk uphill from the drop-off point.
