Car
If you are driving to VELLINO Wine Cellar from Telavi, take the N5 road heading towards Kakabeti. After approximately 12 km, look for the signs directing you to Kakabeti. Turn onto the local road (39th St. N11) following the signs for the village. Continue on this road for about 2 km, and VELLINO Wine Cellar will be on your right. There is parking available at the cellar. Make sure to check the opening hours as they are open from 9 AM to 9 PM daily.
Public Transportation
To reach VELLINO Wine Cellar using public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Telavi to Kakabeti. Marshrutkas leave frequently from the Telavi bus station. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kakabeti, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach VELLINO Wine Cellar. Ask locals for directions to 39th St. N11, as they can guide you to the winery. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the marshrutka, usually around 2-3 GEL.
