Walking
From the center of Mtskheta, head towards the Mtskheta Bus Station located on Aghmashenebeli Street. Once there, look for a bus or minibus heading towards Tbilisi. The buses typically leave every 15-20 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus stops near the village of Birtvisi or the trailhead to Birtvisi Fortress.
