If you're traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Bolnisi. Head east on the Bolnisi-Tetritskaro road (also known as E117). Follow this road for approximately 18 kilometers. When you reach the junction, take the left turn towards Tetritskaro. Continue for another 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Chivchavi Waterfall. Park your car in the designated area and follow the marked hiking trail leading to the waterfall, which is about a 15-minute walk.

Public Transport
For those using public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Tblisi to Bolnisi. The journey takes around 1 hour and costs approximately 2-3 GEL. Once in Bolnisi, you can either take a taxi directly to Chivchavi Waterfall for about 15 GEL or continue by public transport. Look for a marshrutka heading towards Tetritskaro and ask the driver to drop you off near the sign for Chivchavi Waterfall. From there, it will be a short walk to the waterfall.

If you prefer an adventurous route, you can hike to Chivchavi Waterfall starting from Tetritskaro. After arriving in Tetritskaro by bus or car, follow the main road until you reach the first hiking trail sign. The trail to the waterfall is about 3 kilometers long and takes approximately an hour to hike. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water, as the terrain can be uneven.
