From the center of Mtskheta, head east on Erujuli Street towards the Mtkvari River. Continue straight until you reach the Mtkvari River and turn left onto the riverbank path. Follow the river downstream for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Road (also known as the Tbilisi-Mtskheta highway). Cross the road and continue straight on the riverbank path until you reach the Mtskheta bus station. From there, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Tbilisi, which will take you to the city in about 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the Old Tbilisi area.
